| Volunteers Weedon Island Preserve Cultural and Natural History Center depends on the commitment and dedication of our volunteers. If you enjoy meeting new people, learning about the environment or spending time outdoors, then we have an opportunity for you! For more information about the volunteer positions listed below, please contact our Assistant Volunteer Site Coordinator. The award-winning volunteer corps for the Environmental Lands Division represents the fastest-growing section of volunteerism in Pinellas County government. Volunteer opportunities are also available at the Brooker Creek Preserve Environmental Education Center and in the service areas such as land management, ecological research and administration.
