Teacher Training
Teacher training workshops are offered to familiarize teachers with the Preserve, the Center, and available equipment and resources. Workshops enable teachers to facilitate classes at the Center or on the Preserve.

These one- and two-day training sessions, directed by Weedon Island Preserve Cultural and Natural History Center staff, include the participation of many guest speakers. The workshops provide background knowledge on the Preserve's history, ecology and management. Specific regional environmental issues and key projects are also presented. These workshops are offered several times each year. For additional information and dates, contact us.
