Brooker Creek Preserve
Environmental Education Center
Weedon Island Preserve Cultural and Natural History
Center's sister educational facility is the Brooker
Creek Preserve Environmental Education Center. Nestled
deep within the 8,300-acre Brooker Creek Preserve,
the Center provides visitors an opportunity to explore
natural Florida while learning about the interactions
of humans with this environment.
Adjacent to the creek, the Center is a window into
natural Florida. Through exhibits, hikes and educational
programs visitors can experience, discover and better
understand connections between the people and the
land. A resource center is available to explore environmental
topics. Hiking and equestrian
trails offer great ways to experience "Our Wildest
Place."
